processing of funding requests from Texas State and the negotiation of funding allocations for
Projects. Once a Project is approved by the designated representatives, the Parties shall prepare a
Subrecipient Funding Agreement for the Project in substantially the form provided in Exhibit C, a
copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Modifications to the form are subject to
the mutual approval of the City Attorney and the Office of General Counsel for The Texas State
University System. For the avoidance of doubt, each Project shall be subject to a separate
Subrecipient Funding Agreement and allocation rather than being combined into a single
agreement.
2.06. FTA Review and Project Approval. Before Projects are finally approved by either
Party, the designated representatives shall jointly meet and coordinate with regional
representatives of FTA having authority to advise regarding such matters and present the Project
to FTA for recommendations, guidance and preliminary approval. Only upon obtaining such
preliminary written approval (whether formal or informal, e.g., email) from FTA, shall the Parties
finally approve a Project. Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization requirements will be
met prior to submission of project application to the FTA. Once finally approved by the Parties,
each Project shall, thereafter, be governed by the terms of that Project's associated Subrecipient
Funding Agreement.
2.07 Federal Reporting Requirements. Texas State shall continue to provide the Federal
reporting requirements of the National Transit Database (NTD) as a voluntary reporter for Texas
State transit services with NTD ID#60269. The City shall continue to provide the federal reporting
requirements of the NTD as a reduced reporter with NTD ID# 66343.
