Our fees do not include any reimbursable costs such as travel, mileage, printing costs and <br /> delivery costs which we will invoice at our cost plus 15%. <br /> Clarifications <br /> We understand the Owner has experienced many issues related to the existing HVAC system <br /> and desires to replace the existing system. Existing ductwork, diffusers and piping will be <br /> utilized to the extent possible where appropriate. Considerations for the new system shall <br /> include reliability,efficiency,zoning,humidity control and re-use of the existing infrastructure, <br /> We assume the existing electrical and plumbing services are adequate to support the <br /> upgrades. <br /> Conditions <br /> We will be provided with architectural background drawings in CAD or Revit for our use in <br /> producing documents. <br /> Additional Services <br /> If changes to the project are made after we complete the permit drawings,then we will bill <br /> additional services for the changes — this includes changes made as a result of Value <br /> Engineering. Any additional services beyond the basic services described above will be <br /> compensated on an hourly basis unless the client negotiates a fixed fee amount. <br /> The following hourly rate schedule shall be used for all hourly rate billings: <br /> Principal $200/Hr <br /> Project Manager $180/Hr <br /> Senior Engineer $165/Hr <br /> Engineer $155/Hr <br /> Senior Designer $150/Hr <br /> Designer $135/Hr <br /> CAD Technician $115/Hr <br /> Administrative $90/Hr <br /> Billing <br /> Services will be billed monthly with payment due within 15 days of the date you receive <br /> payment. Progress billings will be by percentage of work complete. <br /> Exclusions <br /> We are excluding from our proposed services the following items: <br /> 1. Site Work and Site utilities. Our utilities will be designed to 5'-0"from the building. <br /> 2. Sanitary and storm sewers exterior to the building. <br /> 3. Issuing documents for bid or permitting. <br /> 4. Design of utility or service upgrades, <br /> 5. Acoustic Design.Acoustic control and mitigation of noise. <br /> 6. Architectural work or improvements. <br /> 7. Structural work and sub-contracting of same. <br /> 8. Work in the apparatus bays. Upgrades are limited to the offices and living areas. <br /> 9. Detailed fire sprinkler system design.
