Doucet will submit the 90%plans,application forms,and supporting information required for permitting the <br /> project. At this time,no other jurisdictional permitting is anticipated. If additional permitting is required,DA <br /> will submit a contract addendum to cover additional permitting efforts. <br /> 15. Process plans for permitting;address city comments. We note that the design will not meet the City's typical <br /> drainage criteria as this work is to help mitigate an existing drainage nuisance and is not associated with new <br /> development. Doucet assumes the City fully understands this and acquisition of any waivers from code will <br /> be received positively and we will not need significant effort to address. <br /> 16. Doucet will submit 100% plans, specifications, and quantity takeoff (for bid purposes) and submit to the <br /> capital improvement division and development permitting for final approval. <br /> 17. Coordination with city, meet on a monthly basis remotely for a period up to six(6) months <br /> Task 4: Bid Phase Services <br /> Doucet will provide the following bid phase services. <br /> - Prepare quantity bid tabulation <br /> - Provide applicable city standard specifications and special provisions as may be needed <br /> - Assist the City in the preparation of front-end documents (assume city will take the lead) <br /> - Attend pre-bid meeting and help respond to contractor questions. <br /> Task 5: Construction Phase Services <br /> Doucet will provide the following construction administration services. <br /> - attend a pre-construction meeting with the City and Contractor <br /> - review contractor's material submittals and provide response <br /> - respond to contractor requests for information (RFI's) <br /> - provide periodic field observation (up to two visits budgeted)to view if construction is progressing in general <br /> accordance with the construction documents <br /> - participate in bi-weekly construction meetings in remote fashion <br /> - provide punch list of remaining construction items necessary for project completion <br /> Exclusions <br /> A) permitting fees, licenses, easement recordation, inspection fees, etc. are not included and shall be the <br /> responsibility of the city. <br /> B) Doucet will coordinate with the city on the locations where SUE work would be beneficial for design and <br /> construction, but the acquisition of SUE borings will be the City's responsibility. <br /> PAGES <br /> rio vista proposal 90 through CA 20231012.docx October 13,2023 <br />
