<br />2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting November 4, 1991 Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the amendment. No one did, so Mayor Morris <br />closed the public hearing. Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the <br />Resolution and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE AND <br />PROFESSIONAL FOR LOTS 5 AND 6 AND A PORTION OF LOTS 1 AND 2 OF <br />THE COLLEGE HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS <br />COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 1106 NORTH L.B.J. DRIVE AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the amendment. S. COMBS ADDITION TO THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 42, PAGE 332 OF THE <br />HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCA~ED AT 618 CENTRE STREET, FROM <br />"M" (SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) <br />TO "R-2" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [MEDIUM DENSITY]) AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the zoning change. Mr. Hernandez moved for adoption <br />of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY'S ELECTRIC UTILITY TARIFFS AND WATER <br />AND WASTEWATER BILLING ORDINANCES TO EXTEND THE TIME PERIOD <br />WITHIN WHICH UTILITY BILLS MAY BE PAID WITHOUT A PENALTY <br />SERVICE CHARGE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL <br />CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />
