2 Regular Meeting November 4, 1991 Page 2 Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the amendment. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL FOR LOTS 5 AND 6 AND A PORTION OF LOTS 1 AND 2 OF THE COLLEGE HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 1106 NORTH L.B.J. S. COMBS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 42, PAGE 332 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCA~ED AT 618 CENTRE STREET, FROM "M" (SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO "R-2" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [MEDIUM DENSITY]) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY'S ELECTRIC UTILITY TARIFFS AND WATER AND WASTEWATER BILLING ORDINANCES TO EXTEND THE TIME PERIOD WITHIN WHICH UTILITY BILLS MAY BE PAID WITHOUT A PENALTY SERVICE CHARGE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
