On-demand reading capability and the ability to perform a demand reset can already be
executed from EkaNetr"" Data Manager. The on-demand returns the current register
reading in the meter. Some systems bring back the most recent reading in the collector
which ma be hours old.
16. Usage in water rationing periods, non-zero usage, consumption by groups
The peaks report provides the user to display usage during a specified time period.

This would also provide the six highest intervals which would clearly provide any non- Out of Scope
zero usage. We are exploring the ability to do grouping within EkaNetTM' Data Manager
which ma not be com lete in 2008 however will be com lete in 2009.
17. High-Low consumption (report), Leak detection (report)
The high-low report will display meters that exceed the upper and lower bounds defined
by the user for each meter. The high-low calculation will be restricted by the amount of 3008
data retained in EkaNetT'" Data Manager for defining the test criteria. Leak detection
can be defined with this same report for defining locations where excess volumes have
been recorded.
18. High/low amps, high/low voltage, power quality, power factor
Eka Systems will provide a couple standard reports developed with Crystal reports. From Crystal
This will provide the utility with all field definitions in EkaNetTM' Data Manager required Reports
to report any exceptions on data collected from meter registers in Crystal Reports
without a in Eka S stems or other arties to enerate new re orts.
19. Outage counts/blinks (requires definition)
The EkaNet node will maintain recorded outage counts and blink counts. This will be 2009
stored in the data bases and reported accordingly. Our intent is to allow the user the
abilit to define what defines a true outs a and what is considered a blink.
20. Restoration after outages
Restoration after outage is a reportable event and carries the highest priority in 2009
returning the meter status. In addition, we will provide a report that will provide outage
and restoration times for each node re uested.
1.4 PHASE 2 -FULL SCALE DEPLOYMENT
The Vendor will:
1.4.1 Provide all labor and equipment (other than for the water meters and encoders) as well as
project management required to facilitate the deployment of meters with its subcontractor. The
Vendor will deploy approximately 20,000 single phase CL100/200 and CL320 FM2S 240v
residential electric meters and approximately 800 single-phase and three-phase commercial and
industrial electric meters.
1.4.2 Collect field exchange data and include latitude and longitude which will be verified for
accuracy and provided to the customer by the Vendor in an electronic format.
1.4.3 Provide, install and commission remaining Node enabled electric meters as defined in the
Project Plan as follows:
a) Establish installation schedule;
b) Notify customers at the time of installation;
Advanced Metering Infrastructure Agreement Page 13
