2.5 Provide all printed materials, door hangers, mailers, etc. required for hanging on the City <br />utility customers' door regarding meter exchange or the project, in general, as required by the <br />City and assume responsibility for all City utility customer notifications concerning the project. <br />2.6 Bear all costs incidental to Article 2. <br />For Phase 1, the Cit.: <br />2.7 Provide any ancillary equipment that may be necessary for installations (water meter <br />boxes, lids, miscellaneous mounting hardware, power for Gateways/Relays/Modems, and <br />electric service to City equipment required for the network operation). <br />2.8 Provide necessary permits and manage all customer notification issues associated with <br />the installation of any equipment required for the Network. <br />2.9 Provide the Network backhaul service provider contract and any IT support for service- <br />provider issues associated with the backhaul. <br />2.10 Provide City personnel for the Alpha phase installation effort. The City will provide two <br />people for two weeks for the installation of Nodes, meters, Gateways and Relays with field <br />assistance and oversight from the Vendor. The City will provide one field technician for two <br />work days for the installation of water meters. It is estimated that the City will provide one <br />person for one day for the installation and commissioning of Gateway and Relay devices and the <br />backhaul network capacity with field assistance and oversight provided by the Vendor. <br />2.11 Provide City personnel for the Beta phase installation effort. The City will provide City <br />personnel to install Nodes, meters and Gateways and Relays with field assistance and technical <br />oversight and assistance as required from Vendor. It is estimated that the City Electric Utilities <br />Department will provide four persons for two weeks and that the Water Department will provide <br />two field technicians for two weeks for the installation of water meters to the pilot network. It is <br />estimated that the City will provide one person for ten work days for the installation and <br />commissioning of Gateway and Relay devices and the backhaul network capacity with field <br />assistance and oversight from the Vendor. <br />For Phase 2, the City will: <br />2.12 Provide the services of the City's representative for the following: <br />a) Contract Oversight, issue management and process resolution; <br />b) In coordination with the Vendor, Inventory Control and Management; <br />c) Creation of required meter Authorizations in Change of Service Forms for City <br />systems; <br />Advanced Metering Infrastructure Agreement Page 16 <br />
