defined by the NESC and if the mounting will be in the supply space, then <br />the City will provide a journeyman lineman or apprentice to perform the <br />installation. In addition, the City will make arrangements for the use of <br />either a bucket truck or in the case where the location is inaccessible by <br />vehicle the appropriate climbing gear. The Vendor will provide training on <br />Gateway installation; <br />2) Program Gateways for installation and provide necessary training to City <br />personnel on-site; <br />3) Assist the City in the installation of equipment of up to 50 electric meters <br />and 5 water meters that are equipped with Nodes and ready for the Beta <br />test. The City will provide required tools for meter installation such as <br />cutters, pliers, leather and/or protective insulating gloves for handling <br />energized facilities, protective glasses, long sleeved cotton or wool shirt, <br />and a small ladder depending on the location of the meter. The Vendor <br />will provide training for City personnel for Node installation in the meters; <br />4) Integrate electric meters with Eka Nodes and deliver water meter Nodes to <br />the City for note-meter integration. In addition, the Vendor will train City <br />Water Department personnel to integrate and field retrofit meters. <br />5) Analyze the network over a minimum period of 10 calendar days before <br />acceptance testing in accordance with Alpha testing as set forth in the <br />Alpha Success criteria table located in Section 1.3.9; <br />6) Analyze the network via remote access to the Gateways previously <br />installed; <br />7) Conduct a review meeting wherein the Vendor will brief the City on the <br />current status of Alpha testing and the City will determine if the success <br />criteria, as set forth in the subsection 1.3.9, have been met. Such <br />determination will not be unreasonably withheld; <br />8) Schedule meetings and present test results as requested by the City; <br />9) Pass data to the Utility Billing Application as necessary; <br />10) Pass Handheld Format ("HHF"), Comma Separated Value ("CSV") and <br />Multi-Vendor Read System ("MVRS") files to the Utility Billing <br />Application database so that the billing system will operate efficiently. <br />B. Related to Execution of the Beta Test as follows: <br />1. Assist in the installation of Gateways and Relays for approved Beta sites <br />for Gateway and Relay installation, the City will provide personnel <br />qualified to work in the communications space as defined by the NESC <br />and if the mounting will be in the supply space, then the City will provide <br />a journey-man lineman or apprentice to perform the installation. In <br />addition, the City will make arrangements for the use of either a bucket <br />truck or in the case where the location is inaccessible by vehicle, the <br />appropriate climbing gear.
