• (20)MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Bose and a second by Councilmember Porterfield, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to move the December 15 City Council meeting to December 16, 2009. The motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC HEARINGS 21. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against an annexation to the City an area consisting of 250.70 acres, more or less, out of the Thomas Jefferson Chambers Survey, Abstract No. 2, located north and adiacent to the citv limits fronting Lime Kiln Road, including procedural provisions; and declaring an emergency; and consider Ordinance 2009-67. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:03 p.m. There being no Public Comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 8:03 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Ordinance 2009-67, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. 22. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against an annexation to the Citv an area consisting of 336.155 acres, more or less, out of the William Pettus Two Leagues Survey, . Abstract No. 21, located east of IH-35 bounded by the Hays County line and State Highway 80; including procedural provisions; and declaring an emergency; and consider Ordinance 2009-68. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:05 p.m. There being no Public Comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 8:05 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember Terry, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Ordinance 2009-68, as previously captioned. Veramendi Survey, Abstract No. 17, located at 1800 Post Road; approving a service plan for this area; including procedural provisions; and declaring an emergency; and consider Ordinance 2009-69.
