Program <br />Dear Mayor Narvais: <br />Please accept this letter as an indication of my strong support and that of the River Systems <br />Institute at Texas State University for the proposal entitled "`vity of San Marcos Crass-Town <br />Pathway -- A 5icy°cle and Pedestrian Transportation Corridor. <br />We are vorking together to enhance both the natural feat ores and public access to the <br />headwaters of the San Marcos River and this project is essential to that effo-t. ;"hen <br />completed, it will link the City's mature center on 1-35 to the planned visitor center at the San <br />Marcos River headquarters on our campus, as well as linking many other destinations <br />throughout the c -:-,is exciting project will do much to reduce traffic and air pollution in the <br />city while rrakinl- ome of 'ts most unique assets more accessible and better protected. <br />I am heartily n support of this proposal and stand ready to help in any way possible. <br />Sincere';, <br />Andrew Sansom <br />Executive Director, River Systems Institute <br />R" rl ,r!
