a. A joint fencing application is made with the signature of both • <br />adjacent property owners; and <br />b. The Planning Director considers the desired fence to protect the <br />interests of adjacent property owners and the community at large. <br />(c) Barbed wire, razor wire or similar securi fencing features are prohibited <br />unless approved under subsection (b)(3) of this section. <br />(d) Above-ground electrical fencing (does not include underground "virtual <br />fencing," which is allowed), wire mesh (such as hog wire, chicken wire) and barbed wire <br />are prohibited as perimeter fencing except on undeveloped parcels of five acres or greater <br />in size, or platted lots with a recognized agricultural tax exemption. <br />SECTION 23. Section 6.2.1.2, Minimum Requirements and Standards, subsection (a), <br />Minimum Requirements for Off-Street, is hereby amended by adding a minimum parking <br />requirement for "Gyms" to read as follows: <br />(32) Gym: One space for every 250 square feet of gross floor area <br />SECTION 24. Section 6.3.3.3 On-Premises Freestanding Signs, is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />Section 6.3.3.3 On-Premises Freestanding Signs • <br />(a) Standards. Permanent on-premises freestanding signs are subject to the <br />following standards: <br />(1) The number of these signs on a premises is limited to one per street <br />frontage. The following are not counted in this limitation: <br />a. Directional signs up to 12 square feet in area, provided the number <br />of these signs does not exceed the number of driveways; and <br />b. Subdivision identification signs in accordance with this Section. <br />(2) Maximum height. <br />a. The maximum height (see illustration 6-5) of any on-premise signs <br />shall not exceed the following: <br />42 1/2 feet along Interstate Highway 35. <br />2. 30 feet along Highways 123, 21, and 80. <br />1 <br />. 25 feet along all other roadways. is
