(15) Retail and other commercial uses outside the central business area, unless • <br />otherwise described in this Section, including but not limited to department <br />stores, clothing stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, <br />bookstores, auto parts stores, general merchandise stores, business support <br />services, laundry services, product repair services, barber and beauty shops, <br />etc.: One space for each 250 square feet of gross floor area. <br />(16) Eating and drinking establishments: One parking space for each 100 square feet <br />of gross floor area, or one space for each four seats, whichever is less. Where <br />permanent outdoor seating areas including decks, patios, or other unenclosed <br />spaces are provided, those areas shall be included in the calculation of gross <br />floor area and total number of seats. Establishments having only outdoor dining <br />consisting of fewer than 16 seats shall provide a minimum of four parking <br />spaces. <br />(17) Take-out or drive-through eating establishments having no indoor dining: One <br />parking space for each 50 square feet of floor space used or designated as <br />customer service and waiting area, or four spaces, whichever is greater. <br />(18) Hotel or motel: One parking space for each sleeping room or suite plus one <br />space for each 200 square feet of commercial floor area contained therein. <br />(19) Hospital: One parking space for each bed. <br />(20) Sanitorium, convalescent home, home for the aged or similar institution: One <br />parking space for each two beds. <br />(21) Medical or dental clinic: Four spaces for each treatment room. • <br />(22) Bowling alley: Five parking spaces for each alley. <br />(23) Mortuary or funeral home: One parking space for each 50 square feet of floor <br />space in slumber room parlors or individual funeral service rooms. <br />(24) Day care center or pre-elementary school: One space per 300 square feet of <br />gross floor area, plus a driveway providing separate points of ingress and egress <br />to the premises and having a length sufficient for temporary parking of at least <br />three vehicles whereby the temporary parking spaces do not block access to the <br />other required off-street parking spaces. <br />(25) Manufacturing plants, research laboratories: One for each 1.5 employees in the <br />maximum work shift. <br />(26) Warehouses: One space for each 2,000 square feet of gross floor area excluding <br />office space. Off-street parking requirements for the office area of the use shall <br />be determined in accordance with subsection (15) of this Section. <br />(27) Vehicle sales or rental dealer: One parking space for employees and customers <br />per 3,000 square feet of open sales lot and enclosed floor area devoted to the <br />sale, display, or rental of motor vehicles, mobile homes, or trailers. <br />(28) Vehicle repair facilities: One space for each 200 square feet of floor area devoted <br />to vehicle repair, excluding office space. Off-street parking requirements for the <br />office area of the use shall be determined in accordance with subsection (15) of <br />this Section. • <br />(29) Bus depot: One for each 100 square feet of floor area.
