aggregate gross floor area of 10,000 square feet or more, arranged, intended or • <br />designed for the use shall be provided with off-street truck loading or unloading berths at <br />least 12 feet wide, 14 feet high and 35 feet long in accordance with the following table. <br />There shall be sufficient space to ensure that all maneuvering required to utilize the <br />loading space will not include street right-of-way. <br />Section 6.3.3.3 On-Premises Freestanding Signs <br />(a) Standards. Permanent on-premises freestanding signs are subject to the following <br />standards: <br />(1) The number of these signs on a premises is limited to one per street frontage. <br />The following are not counted in this limitation: <br />a. Directional signs up to 12 square feet in area, provided the number of <br />these signs does not exceed the number of driveways; and <br />b. Subdivision identification signs in accordance with this Section. <br />(2) Maximum height. <br />a. The maximum height (see illustration 6-5) of any on-premise signs shall <br />not exceed the following: <br />1. 42 1/2 feet along Interstate Highway 35. <br />2. 30 feet along Highways 123, 21, and 80. <br />3. 25 feet along all other roadways. • <br />4. Lots/businesses with street frontage in excess of 400 linear feet <br />may have one additional ground/monument sign per street <br />frontage. Ground/monument signs shall not exceed seven feet in <br />height. <br />a. Frontage in this instance means each lot shall have at <br />least 50 feet of adjacent, direct access to the roadway <br />right-of-way. <br />b. Freestanding signs over four feet in height shall not be located within ten <br />feet of any property line unless displayed on a permitted fence or wall. <br />Signs greater than six feet in height must be reviewed by the City electric <br />utility for proper clearance from power lines. <br />(3) Maximum sign area. <br />a. The maximum effective sign area per side per sign shall not exceed the <br />following: <br />1. 260 square feet along Interstate Highway 35. <br />2. 160 square feet along Highways 123, 21, and 80. <br />3. 120 square feet along all other roadways. <br />4. 80 square feet for ground/monument signs. <br />b.
