These technical meetings <br /> and workshops are in addition to the progress meetings required under Task 2. The <br /> scheduling and discussion topics for these workshops shall be jointly agreed upon <br /> between the Owner and the Design-Builder and shall be intended to facilitate and <br /> support the Owner decision-making with respect to the Project configuration and design, <br /> permitting, and construction planning progression. <br /> Task 3 Deliverables: <br /> Deliverables for alternatives analysis should be aligned with the Owner review and <br /> decision-making requirements. <br /> 1. Technical Progress Report evaluating the feasibility of design alternatives <br /> including estimates of capital, operations, and maintenance costs for each <br /> alternative <br /> 2. Technical workshop agendas and meeting minutes (including presentation <br /> materials) <br /> 3. Memoranda summarizing and documenting alternatives and decisions made in <br /> the alternative analysis. <br /> Task 3 Assumptions: <br /> 1. Meeting Minutes provided by Design-Builder will be reviewed by Owner and <br /> Owner's Advisor within one (1) week <br /> 2. Technical Memos will be reviewed and comments provided by Owner and <br /> Owner's Advisor within two (2) weeks <br /> 3. An initial Options review Workshop will be held to select the preferred <br /> alternatives to be carried forward for more detailed Alternatives Analysis. It is <br /> anticipated that no more than two process alternatives will be evaluated in detail <br /> prior to final approach selection and advancement to 30% design activities. <br /> Task 4—Permitting and Approvals <br /> Task 4.1—Permitting and Approvals Plan. The Design-Builder shall identify, consult <br /> with, and analyze requirements of governmental authorities having jurisdiction to <br /> approve the portions of the Project described by Design-Builder, including, TCEQ, <br /> Guadalupe County, City of San Marcos, building permits and any other agencies as <br /> 5 Exhibit B — Phase 1 Scope of Services <br />
