The Design-Builder shall develop a draft Project Permitting and Approvals Plan <br /> consistent with Exhibit A and including any other permits/approvals identified by the <br /> Design-Builder. The plan shall identify/address all permits and approvals including those <br /> being obtained by the Owner. The plan shall include a detailed schedule for obtaining <br /> permits and approvals during Phase 1 and Phase 2 and for providing timely input and <br /> deliverables by the Design-Builder for the permits being obtained by the Owner, and for <br /> the Owner for permits being obtained by the Design-Builder. For each identified <br /> permit/approval, the plan shall include the following information: <br /> • The name of the permit/approval <br /> • Name and contact information for the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) <br /> responsible for issuing the permit/approval <br /> • Responsible entity for developing the permit application and supporting technical <br /> information <br /> • A summary of application and supporting technical requirements for each <br /> permit/approval <br /> • A description of linkages to other permits/approvals and to decisions by the <br /> Owner and/or Design-Builder <br /> • Expected AHJ review and approval durations <br /> • Permit/approval tracking procedures and responsibilities <br /> • Protocols for incorporating permit/approval conditions into design and <br /> construction <br /> The Design-Builder shall provide the draft plan to the Owner for review and shall submit <br /> it within 30 days of the NTP. Within 14 days following the receipt of the Owner's <br /> comments, the Design-Builder shall revise the plan to address Owner's comments. <br /> The Design-Builder shall update the plan as Project development activities progress if <br /> such progression results in identifying additional permits or changes to the permitting <br /> requirements and durations. In addition, an updated Permitting and Approvals Plan shall <br /> be provided to the Owner along with the following documents: <br /> • 30% Design Package <br /> • 60% Design Package <br /> • GMP(s) (in the form of Permit Responsibility Contract Exhibit) <br /> Task 4.2—Secure Permits and Approvals Prior to Contract Price Amendment. The <br /> Design-Builder shall obtain, or support the Owner in obtaining, all permits/approvals that <br /> are required in advance of the Contract Price Amendment to support Project <br /> progression.
