The Design-Builder will develop and submit a proposed Field <br /> Investigation Plan, which shall be reviewed and approved by the Owner prior to <br /> execution. <br /> Task 5 Deliverables: <br /> • Proposed Field Investigation Plan <br /> • Site survey <br /> • Early geotechnical reports <br /> Task 5 Assumptions: <br /> • Field Investigation Plan to include survey, geotechnical and existing site <br /> conditions <br /> • Any site encumbrances will be identified by the Owner. <br /> • Owner will procure all required rights-of-entry. <br /> • Owner will provide access to site and all required temporary and/or permanent <br /> easements. <br /> Task 6—Engineering Design Development <br /> Task 6.1—Preliminary Design Report (PDR) Package. The Design-Builder shall: <br /> 1. Review the Project requirements and consult with the Owner as appropriate to <br /> further clarify requirements for the Project including Owner's budget, review of <br /> Owner's Project criteria, and available Owner-furnished information. <br /> 2. Evaluate the Project reference documents, including, but not limited to, the <br /> Owner's Project criteria and, after consultation with Owner, recommend to Owner <br /> any modifications to such documents which in Design-Builder's judgment would <br /> benefit the Project. <br /> 3. Prepare and submit a Draft PDR Deliverable Package, which shall include: <br /> • Updated Owner's Project Criteria <br /> • Preliminary Design Report <br /> - Reports, memoranda, schematic layouts, sketches, design criteria, and <br /> appropriate exhibits indicating the applicable requirements, considerations <br /> involved, and recommended alternate solutions <br /> - Topographic survey of the entire Project site <br /> - Preliminary geotechnical information <br /> • Baseline Design-Build Cost Model <br /> • Baseline Design-Build Schedule <br /> 8 Exhibit B - Phase 1 Scope of Services <br />
