Mr. Stokes directed staff to place this item on <br />the April 13th agenda. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on third and final <br />reading, the caption of which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN }ffiRCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES <br />AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES <br />AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING <br />THE ZONING OF TRACT 20 OUT OF THE A.W. WITHERS SUBURBAN <br />TRACTS, LOCATED AT 1521 N. BISHOP, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "OP" (OFFICE/PROFESSIiONAL). <br /> <br />Mrs~ Norris moved to adopt the Ordinance. <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Tarbutton seconded the <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on second reading, <br />the caption of which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES <br />AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES <br />AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING THE <br />ZONING OF LOTS 63 AND 64 IN BLOCK 8 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION, <br />FROM "R-2" (DUPLEX) TO "TH" (TOWNHOUSE). <br /> <br />Mr. James moved to approve the Ordinance. <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on second reading, <br />the caption of which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND h~ND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, <br />1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING 47.6 ACRES OUT OF J.M. VERAMENDI <br />LEAGUE NO. ONE, LOCATED ON HUNTER ROAD, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL <br />OPEN SPACE DISTRICT) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL). <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance. <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Tarbutton seconded <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on second reading, <br />the caption of which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN tffiRCOS, <br />TEXAS, ANNEXING TO SAID CITY A CONTIGUOUS TRACT OF LAND CON- <br />TAINING APPROXIMATELY 57.67 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED <br />WITHIN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF SAID CITY AND <br />LYING ADJACENT TO PRESENT CITY BOUNDARIES; EXTENDING THE <br />BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID TRACT; <br />GRANTING TO THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TRACT ALL THE RIGHTS <br />AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY; BINDING SAID <br />INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES, RULES AND <br />REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance. <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. James seconded the <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration a public hearing to consider <br />changing the zoning of Lots 12, 13, 14 and 15 of the Z. Williamson <br />2nd Addition, located on Marlton Street, from "R-l'1 (Single Family <br />Residential) to "R-2" (Duplex Dwelling District). Mr. Stokes stated <br />that this item had been tabled by P&Z and would be considered at a <br />later time and that he would like to have comments from citizens at <br />that time. Mr. James moved to table the item until April 13. Mrs. <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Norris <br />
