Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption of which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN }ffiRCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF TRACT 20 OUT OF THE A.W. WITHERS SUBURBAN TRACTS, LOCATED AT 1521 N. BISHOP, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "OP" (OFFICE/PROFESSIiONAL). Mrs~ Norris moved to adopt the Ordinance. motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Tarbutton seconded the Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on second reading, the caption of which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 63 AND 64 IN BLOCK 8 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION, FROM "R-2" (DUPLEX) TO "TH" (TOWNHOUSE). Mr. James moved to approve the Ordinance. which passed unanimously. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on second reading, the caption of which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND h~ND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING 47.6 ACRES OUT OF J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. ONE, LOCATED ON HUNTER ROAD, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL). Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance. the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Tarbutton seconded Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration an Ordinance on second reading, the caption of which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN tffiRCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO SAID CITY A CONTIGUOUS TRACT OF LAND CON- TAINING APPROXIMATELY 57.67 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED WITHIN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF SAID CITY AND LYING ADJACENT TO PRESENT CITY BOUNDARIES; EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID TRACT; GRANTING TO THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TRACT ALL THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY; BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance. motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. James seconded the Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration a public hearing to consider changing the zoning of Lots 12, 13, 14 and 15 of the Z. Williamson 2nd Addition, located on Marlton Street, from "R-l'1 (Single Family Residential) to "R-2" (Duplex Dwelling District). Mr. Stokes stated that this item had been tabled by P&Z and would be considered at a later time and that he would like to have comments from citizens at that time.
