Call to Order <br />Present <br />Hilda Cook <br />David Brown <br />Jim Pendergast <br />Michael Occhialini <br />Rebecca Conley <br />Not present <br />Ani Yazedjian Hensleigh <br />Rebecca Conley <br />City Staff <br />Stephanie Reyes <br />Shelley Goodwin <br />Owith a quorum present, the Regular Meeting of the San Marcos Sunset Advisory Commission was called to <br />order at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2009 in the San Marcos City Hall Conference Room, 630 E. Hopkins, <br />San Marcos, Texas 78666, <br />2. Approve minutes from the May 1 2009 meeting <br />Upon a motion made by Commissioner Brown and seconded by Commissioner Cook, the Sunset Advisory <br />Commission voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed. The motion carried unanimously. <br />3. Discuss City Attorney Email Regarding Open Meetings Tralning <br />The Commission reviewed email sent by Michael Cosentino, City Attorney, regarding Sunset Advisory <br />Commission attending the Open Government training. <br />4. Discuss Proposed Meeting Tracking Sheet <br />The Commission reviewed and updated the Tracking Sheet (attached). Chairman Pendergast asked that only <br />one Worksheet be completed. He asked that each Commissioner meet with their Commission partner to <br />complete one Worksheet. He also encouraged the Commissioners to attend their meetings and turn in their <br />questionnaire with their Commission. <br />5. Discuss Board/ Commission meetings each person has attended <br />Commissioner Brown provided compliments on the Airport Commission and Transportation Commission. <br />Several Commissioners have expressed concerns of Staff not informing and providing additional education on <br />0sues. <br />6. Discuss the "Sunset Review Commission Worksheet for Board and Commission Meeting Reviews" as it <br />relates to effectively arryinz out the intent of the Sunset Commission <br />
