approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by the City in <br />the scope, quality or budget of the Project. These contract documents will include detailed plans <br />and technical specifications required for the Project to be accurately bid and efficiently <br />constructed. <br />1.1.6 Use its best professional judgment to create technical documents that comply with <br />applicable construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other <br />federal and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the <br />Engineer. <br />1.1.7 Ensure that no reports, maps, or other documents produced in whole or in part under this <br />Agreement will be the subject of an application for copyright by or on behalf of the Engineer. <br />1.1.8 Obtain approval from the City of all technical plans and specifications necessary for <br />successful completion of the Project prior to allowing the construction contract to be let for bid. <br />1.1.9 Perform general project management and administration duties required to administer the <br />Project to include general coordination and management, general correspondence with the City, <br />monitor activities and progress, prepare monthly progress reports and invoices, update schedule, <br />and perform record keeping and file management. <br />1.1.10 Attend coordination, review, and project meetings for each of the three areas to discuss <br />design needs, maintenance issues, utility coordination (if required) and any other matters <br />necessary for Project completion. <br />1.2 TASK 1-SURVEY <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.2.1 Base its design on the information provided by the City (electronic files, paper files, data, <br />etc.) and other information obtained by the Engineer. Use said information as a basis for design <br />unless different direction is provided in advance by the City. The Engineer will contact utility <br />companies for information regarding the location of utility facilities in and around the Project <br />areas. <br />a) Right of entry into private property will be secured by the City ahead of time and <br />will be supplied to Engineer and its subconsultants. The Engineer will make <br />contact with property owners 24 hours in advance to entering any private <br />property. The Engineer and its subconsultants will abide by all covenants and <br />restrictions as noted in the right of entry agreements. <br />b) Perform a topographic survey using the City's coordinate system and tie to City's <br />existing right-of--way plats and surveys to include: <br />i) Horizontal and Vertical Control Survey: <br />3 <br />
