Notify the City's Project Manager of any conflicts or potential conflicts with proposed design with existing structures, proposed utilities, right -of -way, and encroachments that would delay construction. 1.2.13 Prepare an update of the engineer's estimate of probable construction cost for the Project based on the City's approval of the final design. 1.2.14 In accordance with the Engineer's Quality Control /Quality Assurance program and in coordination with the City, review the Project at 30/60/90 complete milestones and at the completion of the design to verify the acceptability of the Project prior to the permitting process. 1.2.15 Coordinate with the City's construction testing lab to manage testing and provide QA/QC. 1.2.16 Prepare driveway plats for any driveways that require work on private property. The City is to obtain releases from property owners. 1.2.17 Obtain approval from the City's Project Manager of all technical plans, specifications, and estimates (PS &E) necessary for successful completion of the Project prior to proceeding to tasks 1.2.18 and 1.2.19 and prior to allowing the construction contract to be let for bid. 1.2.18. Submit Final plans to the Union Pacific Railroad for permitting. The costs associated with the submission of plans for review will be paid by the City. 1.2.19 Submit Final plans to the Texas Department of Transportation for permitting. 1.2.20. Furnish three (3) sets of design drawings, construction documents and bid documents for 30 %, 60% and final review. 1.2.21 Provide three sets of construction drawings to the City; one set will be full -size drawings and two sets will be half -size drawings. The Engineer will provide three digital copies of the construction drawings and technical specifications in PDF and CAD on compact disc (CD) media. 1.2.22 Assist the City in the preparation of construction contract documents using City forms based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by the City in the scope, quality or budget of the Project. The Engineer will use its best professional judgment to create technical documents that comply with applicable construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other federal and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the Engineer. 1.2.23 Head the Project team and coordinate the integration of data collection, design, surveying, right of way issues, traffic control, utility engineering, permitting and other services as previously approved.
