Notify the City's Project Manager of any conflicts or potential conflicts with proposed design <br />with existing structures, proposed utilities, right -of -way, and encroachments that would delay <br />construction. <br />1.2.13 Prepare an update of the engineer's estimate of probable construction cost for the Project <br />based on the City's approval of the final design. <br />1.2.14 In accordance with the Engineer's Quality Control /Quality Assurance program and in <br />coordination with the City, review the Project at 30/60/90 complete milestones and at the <br />completion of the design to verify the acceptability of the Project prior to the permitting process. <br />1.2.15 Coordinate with the City's construction testing lab to manage testing and provide <br />QA/QC. <br />1.2.16 Prepare driveway plats for any driveways that require work on private property. The City <br />is to obtain releases from property owners. <br />1.2.17 Obtain approval from the City's Project Manager of all technical plans, specifications, <br />and estimates (PS &E) necessary for successful completion of the Project prior to proceeding to <br />tasks 1.2.18 and 1.2.19 and prior to allowing the construction contract to be let for bid. <br />1.2.18. Submit Final plans to the Union Pacific Railroad for permitting. The costs associated <br />with the submission of plans for review will be paid by the City. <br />1.2.19 Submit Final plans to the Texas Department of Transportation for permitting. <br />1.2.20. Furnish three (3) sets of design drawings, construction documents and bid documents for <br />30 %, 60% and final review. <br />1.2.21 Provide three sets of construction drawings to the City; one set will be full -size drawings <br />and two sets will be half -size drawings. The Engineer will provide three digital copies of the <br />construction drawings and technical specifications in PDF and CAD on compact disc (CD) <br />media. <br />1.2.22 Assist the City in the preparation of construction contract documents using City forms <br />based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by <br />the City in the scope, quality or budget of the Project. The Engineer will use its best professional <br />judgment to create technical documents that comply with applicable construction and <br />development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other federal and state regulations <br />which are known or which should reasonably be known to the Engineer. <br />1.2.23 Head the Project team and coordinate the integration of data collection, design, <br />surveying, right of way issues, traffic control, utility engineering, permitting and other services <br />as previously approved. <br />
