1.4 TASK 4 -CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.4.1 Prepare final construction plans and technical specifications in accordance with City <br />design criteria and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality ("TCEQ") and water industry <br />design standards. Drawings will include cover a sheet, site plan, plans and profiles, standard <br />details, traffic control, tree protection and erosion protection plans. Length of 24-inch Comanche <br />Water Transmission Main is approximately 5,200 if and will extend from the Spring Lake <br />Waterline at Ed JJ Greene to the Comanche Standpipe. Drawings will include provisions for the <br />existing 12-inch waterline that supplies the Comanche Standpipe. <br />1.4.2 Facilitate City permit coordination and application approval. <br />1.4.3 Prepare City standard specifications for construction of Project. <br />1.4.4 Prepare Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for Project, list of construction bid items, <br />and estimated quantities. <br />1.4.5 Prepare construction schedule. <br />1.4.6 Provide required general notes, specification data and special provisions. <br />1.4.7 Select standard City of San Marcos detail drawings applicable to the project and modify as <br />necessary. <br />1.5 TASK 5 -ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITTING <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.5.1 Include all environmental studies and the preparation of technical letter reports covering <br />threatened and endangered species, waters of the U.S., and cultural resources. The Engineer will <br />prepare plans required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality ("TCEQ") <br />concerning the Edwards Aquifer, unless exempted by the TCEQ. <br />1.5.2 Ensure permitting process is on schedule for construction and any issues are transmitted <br />to the City and follow-up with agencies to ensure permits are successfully processed through the <br />system. <br />1.5.3 Complete permitting during the design phase of the Project, including coordinating with <br />the City and other agencies. <br />KBR-Comanche Water Transmission Main (24") Agreement <br />
