adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, BE TEXAS: IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, SECTION 1. That the 57.67 acre tract of land area presently zoned "PD" (Pre-development) and the 141.95 acre tract of unzoned land area, both tracts being situated in the J.M. Veramendi Survey No.1, A-17 and the Jones Curtis Survey A-13, more particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporate~ herein for all purposes, hence shall be rezoned" PDD" (Planne~ Development District). SECTION 2. That the PDD Development Plan for said 199.62 acre tract of land in the J.M. Veramendi IBague No.1, A-17 and the James Curtis Survey A-3 which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes as Exhibit "B", is hereby approved. SECTION 3. That the SMRC Site Plan for said 199.62 acre tract of land in the J.M. Veramendi IBague No.1, A-17 and the James Curtis Survey A-3 which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes as Exhibit "B" is hereby approved. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. If reconsidered on April 13, 1987, it shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
