<br />lifelong learning Project <br />Program Narrative--page 9 <br /> <br />Advertising wt11 be ¡;cœmphshed in the fGnawing ways: <br /> <br />1 ) Public service announcements and news releases wi11 be sent on a regular basis to <br />all local media which include newspapers, rooio, and cable TV. These wí11 be <br />in English and Spanish, as neeœd. <br /> <br />2) Reporters and/or news editors from the local papers wm be rontacted and asked to <br />produce feature articles on the project. <br /> <br />3) A promotional flyer in English and Spanish wH1 be produced and distributed. It <br />wm describe the full range of materials and services available to adults <br />with less than a twelfth grtœ education. <br /> <br />4) The Project Coordinator will make personal visits to community groups, churches, <br />clubs, and agencies in San Marcos. <br /> <br />5) The entire library staff, and especially those who are Spanish-speaking, <br />wi11 be trained to promote the 1ibrary's services and materials for the target <br />group. <br /> <br />VIII.
