1.5.2 Insert return envelopes and any City inserts into each utility bill or delinquent notice as requested by the City. 1.5.3 Detect and correct doubles or misses at insert stations, missed or unopened flaps on envelopes, misalignment at final insertion area, or other equipment malfunctions. 1.6 TASK 5 - SORTING/MAILING The Contractor will: 1.6.1 Sort all mail-outs to achieve the greatest potential discount possible on mailing costs. 1.6.2 Provide all mailing supplies required to mail utility bills and delinquent notices. 1.6.3 Ensure that all utility bills and delinquent notices are generated and mailed within one business day fi:om the day data is transferred to Contractor. 1.6.4 Use the CityofSanMarcos, Utility Billing Department, 636 E. Hopkins, SanMarcos, Texas 78666 as the official address and include this address and the City Seal on all City of San Marcos mail-outs until such time that the City notifies Contractor otherwise. 1.6.5 Ensure that all envelope flaps are properly sealed and secured prior to mailing and that the bar code is on all mail-outs for the most economical postage rate. 1.7 TASK 6 - REPORTS The Contractor will: 1.7.1 Provide detail and summary reports (electronically) of transactions for each mail- out/distribution through access to the Dataprose DP Job Trax menu. The reports will include current project production reports, overall production reports, and history and analysis of billing information. 1.7.2 TranSmit production reports to the Citywithin one business day fi:om the day of data transfer to Contractor. 1.7.3 Maintain the United States Parcel Service ("USPS") Coding Accuracy Support System ("CASS") certification processing software or a software which performs the same function for the purpose of ensuring a current address verification process for the City. 1.8 TASK 7 - WAREHOUSING The Contractor will: 3
