Assumptions/ Exclusions <br /> 1. BGE will prepare the design in accordance with applicable state and local codes/ordinances including, <br /> but not limited to, the City of San Marcos Water Distribution System Design Criteria Manual and City of <br /> San Marcos Standards. Where City of San Marcos criteria is incomplete, City of Austin Utility Criteria <br /> Manual and City of Austin Design and Construction Standards will be used. <br /> 2. The Project will be split into Phase 1 and Phase 2, where Phase 1 will be joint bid with the County <br /> roadway project and Phase 2 will be bid and constructed separately by the City. <br /> 3. For Phase 1, the County will be responsible for setting up and running any required public meetings. <br /> The County has had one public meeting already and is not expecting to hold any additional meetings. It <br /> is assumed that no additional public meetings will be required. <br /> 4. For Phase 2, it is assumed that no public meetings will be required. <br /> 5. For Phase 1, the County project will handle any utility coordination required. <br /> 6. For Phase 2, the City will handle any utility coordination required to resolve conflicts. BGE will attend <br /> meetings set up and run by the City. <br /> 7. During the construction phase,for both Phase 1 and Phase 2, BGE will not attend a final walk through, <br /> review pay estimates or attend any construction observation site visits or inspections. <br /> 8. TOOT RULIS permitting will only be required for the crossing at SH 21, included in Phase 1. <br /> 9. BGE will utilize the survey, environmental review, and geotechnical bores from the County roadway <br /> project where available. <br /> 10. The County will be responsible for obtaining any temporary workspace and permanent easements <br /> required for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Project. <br /> 11. The County will be responsible for obtaining right of entry for Phase 1. The City will be responsible for <br /> obtaining any additional right of entry required for Phase 2. All tracts necessary for field engineering <br /> services are accessible, and right of entry will be secured for the field team's entry. <br /> 12. No federal permitting will be required for the Project. <br /> 13. The duration of the Project is assumed to be 33 months, including design, bid, and construction phase <br /> for both Phase 1 and Phase 2. If that duration is extended, an additional services proposal will be <br /> submitted to the City for the anticipated extended period of time for staff consideration and approval. <br /> 10 <br />
