1.4.9 Summarize and discuss construction related affects associated with the Project, including <br />detours, in the CE. <br />1.4.10 Perform an Internet database search as well as a site visit and windshield survey of <br />properties within a '/4-mile of the Project site for the purpose of identifying hazardous material <br />issues. <br />1.4.11 Perform an Indirect and Cumulative Impacts (ICI) Analysis for the Project using <br />TxDOT's current guidance, if necessary. <br />1.4.12 Summarize and discuss public involvement activities for the Project in the CE. <br />1.4.13 Include exhibits for this task in the CE: <br />a) A location map (USGS quad map); <br />b) Typical sections; and <br />c) Photos. <br />1.4.14 Process Categorical Exclusion document, including: <br />a) Prepare seven (7) copies of the preliminary draft of the CE, unbound, for submittal to <br />the City of San Marcos and the TxDOT Austin District. <br />b) Revise preliminary draft CE based on District comments and resubmit twelve (12) <br />copies of draft CE. <br />1.4.15 As part of this Task, the Engineer assumes that: <br />a) Categorical Exclusion will be applicable to the proposed improvements; <br />b) ROW requirements are limited to a small section at Peques/Sessom intersection; <br />c) That an air quality analysis would not be necessary for the Project; and <br />d) That a noise analysis would not be necessary for the Project. <br />TASK 1.5 -BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION <br />The Construction phase of this Project will commence with the award of the construction <br />contract and will terminate when the Project is accepted by the City. The Engineer will <br />administer the bidding and construction phase of the Project in accordance with City standards. <br />The Engineer will: <br />Bidding <br />1.5.1 Assist the City in the preparation of construction contract documents using City forms <br />based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by <br />the City in the scope, quality or budget of the Project. These contract documents will include <br />detailed plans and technical specifications required for the Project to be accurately bid and <br />KBR-Sessom Drive Roadway Unprovements Agreement <br />13 <br />
