<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />DISTRIBUTION LINE EXTENSION POLICY <br /> <br />APPENDIX E <br /> <br />LIGHTING <br /> <br />The city will construct permanent extensions of or addi- <br />tions to, existing overhead facilities of the City which <br />provide electric service for the municipal lighting systems <br />under the appropriate Tariffs where the annual revenue just- <br />ifies the costs of such extensions. <br /> <br />The City will install individual security lights on existing <br />overhead facilities at the request of a customer receiving <br />full time electric service in accordance with contact pro- <br />visions specified in the applicable rate schedule. Where <br />additional pole(s) or transformer(s) are required and re- <br />quested by the applicant for the installation of security <br />lights, a charge will be made to defray any additional costs <br />incident thereto. <br /> <br />Where primary facilities are not installed, street lighting <br />for subdivisions will only be installed, without cost to <br />applicant, as primary facilities are extended to serve per- <br />manent residence or businesses in a subdivision. <br />
