<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE <br /> <br />Description of Service <br /> <br />Electric service supplied by the City will be 60-cycle alternat- <br />ing current delivered at the available standard voltages adjacent <br />to the premises where the customer is located. Secondary service <br />will be supplied at nominal voltages of 120/240 volt single <br />phase, three phase voltages of 120/208 volt, 120/240 volt, <br />277/480 volt, and 240/480 volt, or such other voltage as is <br />availaþle. Primary service will be supplied at nominal voltage <br />below 15,000 volts as available. <br /> <br />The City will provide electric service and administer these Rules <br />and Regulations through its operating agent, the Lower Colorado <br />River Authority. <br /> <br />Before purchasing or installing electrical equipment and/or <br />wiring, the customer should secure infonnation in writing from <br />the City as to the type of service available at the location to <br />be served. <br /> <br />The City does not guarantee, but with the cooperation of the <br />customer, will endeavor to furnish a continuous supply of <br />electric power and energy and to maintain voltage and frequency <br />within reasonable limits. The City shall not be liable for any <br />damages which the customer may sustain by reason of the failure <br />of the supply or variation in service characteristics or phase <br />reversals, nor shall the City be liable for any damages that may <br />result from the use of electrical appliances or from the city's <br />property on the customer's premises. <br />
