<br />-2- <br /> <br />amendment is filed with the office <br />of the City Secretary seven or more <br />days before the time of the public <br />hearing by the City Council, and is <br />duly signed and acknowledged by the <br />owners of twenty percent or more of <br />the area of lots or land included in <br />the proposed change, or by the <br />owners of twenty percent or more of <br />the land within a 200-foot radius of <br />the boundary of the subject <br />property, including public streets <br />and alleys, the amendment shall not <br />become effective except by the <br />favorable vote of at least <br />three-fourths of all the members of <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />PART 3. That Section 35(G) of the General Zoning <br />Ordinance is repealed and the following adopted in its place: <br /> <br />Section 35. Specific use pend ts . <br /> <br />(G) <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Period of specific use and renewal: <br /> <br />Mobile homes: Specific use permits for <br />mobile homes, where authorized by this <br />Ordinance, shall have a time limit of not <br />more than one year unless automatic <br />extensions are otherwise approved by the <br />Zoning Commission. Any permittee <br />desiring a subsequent renewal must make <br />application prior to expiration of the <br />current permit. The Zoning Commission <br />may grant either a temporary or a <br />permanent specific use permit for an <br />existing mobile home in any zoning <br />district where: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />the mobile home has been previously <br />issued a temporary trailer permit or <br />specific use permit; or, <br />where it meets the goals, <br />objectives, and policies of the <br />Master Plan and the purpose of this <br />Ordinance regardless of whether or <br />not a permit was previously <br />obtained. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />TABC permits: Specific use permits <br />granted for on-premise consumption of <br />alcoholic beverages shall be in effect <br />for the duration of the TABC license <br />unless otherwise revoked in accordance <br />with the provisions of Section 35(H)(3). <br /> <br />All other specific use permits shall be <br />in effect for the duration of the <br />respective uses on the premises for which <br />they are granted unless an expiration <br />date is establ ished by the Zoning <br />Commission at the time of approval. Any <br />abandonment of the activity authorized <br />for ten ( 10) consecuti ve days or more <br />shall constitute a break in the <br />duration. Any permittee desiring a <br />subsequent renewal of a temporary permit <br />must make application prior to expiration <br />of the current permit. <br />
