<br />C. <br /> <br />BENEFICIARIES OF DECEASED EMPLOYEES - BENEFITS <br /> <br />The beneficiary of a deceased employee will receive pay <br /> <br />for any accumulated vacation (up to ninety (90) days) and <br />holiday pay due at the time of death of the employee, as <br /> <br />well as accumulated sick bank. <br /> <br />(See Section VIII-2-i) <br /> <br />The beneficiary will also receive any salary due the <br /> <br />deceased employee. <br /> <br />A supplemental death benefit equal to <br /> <br />the employee's current annual salary, if the employee is <br />a TMRS member, together with other retirement <br /> <br />contributions or annuities due the employee's beneficiary <br /> <br />will be paid. <br /> <br />The beneficiary will also receive City <br /> <br />life insurance benefits in force at the time of the <br /> <br />employee's death. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />WORKER'S COMPENSATION <br /> <br />General Policy - Worker's Compensation Insurance is <br /> <br />provided for all City employees and volunteers. <br /> <br />Worker's <br /> <br />Compensation Insurance coverage is designed to compensate <br /> <br />all employees or volunteers for job-related illnesses or <br /> <br />injuries. <br /> <br />The employee's supervisor must be notified <br /> <br />immediately of any job-related injury. <br /> <br />Every injury, <br /> <br />regardless of its severity, must be reported to the City <br />Safety/Benefits Manager within twenty-four (24) hours of <br /> <br />the occurrence. <br /> <br />(See detailed information in Section <br /> <br />VIII-G Injury Leave.) <br /> <br />-37- <br />
