<br />c. <br /> <br />repeaters and are subject to disciplinary action. <br /> <br />The disciplinary action of the absence repeater shall <br />be handled in the following manner: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />An employee with more than two (2) unexcused <br />absences (not approved by the employee's <br /> <br />supervisor) in any six month period will be given <br />a written warning by his/her supervisor. A copy <br /> <br />of the warning (signed by the Supervisor and the <br />employee) will be forwarded to the Personnel <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Department to be placed in the employee's file. <br />An employee with more than three (3) unexcused <br /> <br />absences in any six (6) month period may be <br /> <br />suspended without pay for up to three (3) days. <br />The signed notice of suspension will be forwarded <br /> <br />to the Personnel Department to be placed in the <br />employee file. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />An employee with four (4) unexcused absences in a <br />six (6) month period may be terminated. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Unexcused absences from work for a period of <br /> <br />three (3) consecutive working days shall be <br /> <br />considered as a resignation. <br /> <br />HOLIDAYS <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The following is a list of approved holidays: <br /> <br />New Year's Day <br /> <br />January 1 <br />Third Monday in February <br /> <br />Washington's Birthday <br /> <br />-42- <br />
