<br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Holidays Durinq Vacation - City holidays that occur <br />during an employee's vacation will not be charged to <br /> <br />vacation time. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Payment for Vacation at Retirement - Under anyone of <br />the following conditions a regular employee will be <br /> <br />compensated for up to ninety (90) days of unused <br />vacation time: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />After twenty-five (25) years of City employment. <br />Upon reaching age sixty (60) or older with <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />fifteen (15) years of City employment and under <br />approved retirement provisions, or <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Upon disability retirement in accordance with <br />TMRS or Social Security regulations. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Payment UDon Death - A designated beneficiary will be <br /> <br />compensated upon death of an employee for up to <br />ninety (90) accumulated vacation days. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />An employee shall not be granted vacation leave in <br /> <br />excess of accumulated leave. <br /> <br />Employees may not elect to receive pay in lieu of <br /> <br />vacation leave. <br /> <br />Vacation leave is not transferable to another <br /> <br />employee. <br />Employees shall be allowed to retain their vacation <br /> <br />leave credits if they are reassigned, promoted, or <br /> <br />demoted. <br /> <br />-46- <br />
