<br />13. <br /> <br />Employees shall not accumulate vacation leave while <br /> <br />on leave of absence. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />Regular full time or part-time employees who have <br />completed six (6) full months of service with the <br /> <br />City shall be paid for any earned but unused vacation <br />upon termination provided that employee gives two <br /> <br />weeks notice and works during the two week <br /> <br />notification period. <br /> <br />Employees who leave City <br /> <br />employment before completing six (6) months of <br />service shall not be entitled to any vacation pay. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />SICK LEAVE <br /> <br />sick leave ia a benefit provided to regular City <br />employees to be used when an employee is unable to work <br /> <br />due to personal illness, illness in employee's dependent <br />family, physical incapacity, and doctor and dental <br /> <br />visits. <br /> <br />Abuse of this sick leave benefit will not be <br /> <br />tolerated. <br /> <br />Employees whp willfully use sick leave for <br /> <br />purposes other than those intended by these policies <br /> <br />shall be subject to discipline. <br /> <br />All regular full time <br /> <br />and part-time employees of the City are entitled to <br />accumulate paid sick leave credit according to the <br /> <br />following rules: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Accrual - All regular full time employees accrue sick <br /> <br />leave at the rate of fifteen (15) days per year (or <br /> <br />-47- <br />
