<br />not signed over will be deducted from the employee's <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />pay. <br />The time limit for use of injury leave is three (3) <br /> <br />months, with the count beginning on the first day the <br /> <br />employee is off work. <br /> <br />At the end of three (3) <br /> <br />months, the employee will either receive Workers' <br />Compensation checks only, or he/she will begin to use <br /> <br />accrued sick or vacation leave. <br /> <br />No exceptions to <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />this policy will occur. <br />If light duty can be arranged by the supervisor, the <br /> <br />employee shall return to work on a light duty status <br /> <br />with no loss in pay. <br /> <br />The doctor is to determine what <br /> <br />light duty entails as far as activity. <br /> <br />As soon as <br /> <br />the doctor rules that the employee is able to return <br /> <br />to full duty, he/she will be taken off light duty and <br />placed back on his/her regular tasks. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />If at any point information is obtained that the <br /> <br />employee is able to return to work but not willing to <br />do so, the Risk, Benefits Safety Manager must be <br /> <br />notified. <br /> <br />(This information will be <br /> <br />confidential). <br /> <br />The Risk, Benefits, Safety Manager will report this <br />information to the Workers' Compensation insurance <br /> <br />carrier and the carrier will investigate the matter. <br /> <br />-53- <br />
