<br />7. <br /> <br />has an unsatisfactory driving record (based on <br /> <br />requirements of the City's insurance carrier-if <br /> <br />applicant is applying for a position requiring <br />operation of a motorized vehicle); <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />is in violation of the City's Nepotism Policy <br /> <br />(Section II-E); <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />was terminated for cause or not recommended for <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />rehire by the City of San Marcos; <br />is in violation of the City's Age Requirement policy <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />(Section II-F); and/or <br />is not in compliance with the Immigration Reform Act <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />of 1986 (Section II-C-S). <br />NEPOTISM POLICY <br /> <br />Applicants shall be ineligible for employment if they are <br />related within the second degree of affinity o~ within <br /> <br />the third degree of consanguinity to the Mayor, a member <br />of the City Council, the City Manager, or the direct <br /> <br />Supervisor. <br /> <br />This policy applies to all temporary, <br /> <br />part-time or full time employees. <br /> <br />If relatives are <br /> <br />working in the same department, a relative will not be <br />employed under the immediate supervision of another <br /> <br />relative. <br /> <br />For the purpose of these policies, relatives <br /> <br />include the following: <br /> <br />Father <br /> <br />Father-in-law <br /> <br />Mother <br /> <br />Mother-in-law <br /> <br />-8- <br />
