b) Proximity to the discharge site; <br />c) Geotechnical considerations; <br />d) Site accessibility; <br />e) Power supply availability; <br />f) Environmental considerations; <br />g) Neighborhood considerations; <br />h) Land value; <br />i) Topography; and <br />J) Other engineering considerations. <br />1.7.2 Provide the City with an electronic copy of a technical memorandum documenting <br />criteria, weighting factors used, and results associated with the Alternative Site Evaluation. <br />1.8 TASK 8 - SITE LOCATION ASSESSMENT REPORT <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.8.1 Prepare and submit a draft Site Location Assessment Report for review by the City. <br />1.8.2 After receipt of a consolidated set of comments on the draft report from the City, revise <br />and resubmit a Final Site Location Assessment Report. To facilitate the development of this <br />report, the Engineer will incorporate individual task technical memoranda as individual sections <br />of the report. <br />1.9 ADDITIONAL SERVICES/CHANGE IN SERVICES <br />1.9.1 Since the Engineer's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor <br />deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Engineer for Additional <br />Services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this <br />Agreement. The Engineer will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's <br />authorization before initiating any additional services. <br />1.9.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Engineer <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 13.3 of this Agreement. The approval of <br />the City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $50,000.00. Efforts associated with assisting the City in pursuing a regional facility <br />have not been included in this Agreement e.g., contacting or discussing a regional biosolids <br />treatment facility with neighboring communities or utilities. Should the City decide to include <br />this activity, it can be provided as an additional service. Up to three liquid treatment train <br />options will be evaluated by the Engineer any additional evaluations will be considered as <br />additional services. <br />W W WTP Site Location Assessment - CH2M Hill <br />7
