<br />70 <br /> <br />\~ <br /> <br />regular meeting, april 9, 1979 <br /> <br />page two <br /> <br />Mr. Hyatt moved the ordinance be approved on first reading. <br />Mr. Hansen seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br />SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGU- <br />LATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED <br />MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE <br />ZONING OF A 33.345 ACRE TRACT IN T. J. <br />CHAMBERS SURVEY, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY <br />RESIDENTIAL) TO "D" (MULTIFAMI-LY). <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. James moved the ordinance be adopted on third and final <br />reading. Mr. Breihan seconded the motion which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br />SECTION 4 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGU- <br />LATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED <br />MAY 23, 1966 (GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE) <br />BY DELETING THE DEFINITION OF "TRAILER <br />HOUSE" AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Hyatt moved the ordinance be adopted on third and final <br />reading. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of a resolution as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING <br />ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPLETION OF IMPROVE~ <br />MENTS IN THE DOWNTmTN BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />IN SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING APPROVAL <br />OF A CHANGE ORDER ON SAID PROJECT; <br />, AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE <br />) CONSTRUCTION; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved the resolution be adopted, Mr, Hyatt <br />seconded the motion which passed unanimously., <br /> <br />The Mayor read an ordinance having the following caption: <br /> <br />\0) <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN }ffiRCOS, TEXAS, kMENDING <br />ARTICLE V, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />DEVICES", OF CHAPTER 29 OF THE ,CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC"'" BY, <br />ADDING TO SECTION 29-110.1, ENTITLED <br />"(TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES) TO BE PLACED <br />AND MAINTAINED AT OR NEAR SPECIFIC <br />STREET INTERSECTIONS", ONE LOCATION FOR <br />A TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr, Breihan moved the. ordinance. De. adopted on, emer'gencl'.. <br />Mr. Hyatt seconded the motion, Mr, Torn w:ord of the.Sta,te.
