Adcock for <br />a temporary permit to locate a mobile home at Loop 82 and <br />Interstate Highway 35. One letter of objection which had <br />been earlier presented was withdrawn. Mr. Adcock was in <br />attendance to present l11s requestvto the Council. Mr. Hyatt <br />moved the permit De approved. DRIVE FROM <br />"c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL1 , <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Following the reading of the ordinance, Mr. Cavazos opened <br />a public hearing to consider the requested zoning change. <br />Mr. Morgan Fuschak came before the Council to make his <br />request. Mr. Austin Varner, representing the San Marcos <br />Church of Christ, also appeared before the Council to object <br />to the requested zoning change. Following the public hearing, <br />Mr. Hyatt moved the ordinance be approved on first reading. <br />Mr.; Sutton seconded the motion. Ms... Gonzales said the. business was <br />currently operated as a grocery store, however, persons <br />did stop from time to time and have meals on the premises. <br />No objections were presented to. the zoning change. <br />Following the public hearing, the Mayor moved the ordinance <br />be approved on first reading. Mr. Sutton seconded the <br />motion. Mr. Cavazos moved that <br />Agenda Item #10,. a public hearing on allocation of <br />Economic Development Funds.," be tabled. 'Mr. Arredondo <br />seconded the motion which passed unanimously., <br /> <br />Mr. Arredondo moved that Agenda Item #11, a request for <br />use of City Park by travel trailers, be tabled to next <br />week. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion which passed <br />unanimously. <br />
