Veramendi League Number 2, located on the <br />North I.H. 35 access road. The applicant is L.B. Ramirez. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman James and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor read an Ordinance having the following caption: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS~ <br />AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE WHICH ADOPTS RULES AND ORDER OF BUSINESS FOR <br />SAID CITY COUNCIL, BY PROVIDING FCm REGULAR WEEKLY MEETINGS OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DURATION OF A REVIEW PERIOD TO END SEPTEMBER 30, 1977. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved the Ordinance be appr9ved on first reading. Mr. James seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read a Resolution stating opposition to the provisions of Senate Bill <br />No. 412 and House Bill 770, known as "The Ready Mixed Concrete Vehicle Weight <br />Improvement Bill". The City Manager explained that the bill, if passed, would <br />allow greater gross vehicular weight on city streets and would have a deleterious <br />effect on the pavement. Mayar Craddock moved the Resolution be adopted.
