<br />The Mayor declared the motion failed and the Resolution not approved.
<br />
<br />Mr. Cavazos moved to approve a request for a permit to temporarily locate a
<br />mobile home on a tract in the J ,M. Veramendi League Number 2, located on the
<br />North I.H. 35 access road. The applicant is L.B. Ramirez. The motion was
<br />seconded by Councilman James and passed unanimously.

<br />AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE WHICH ADOPTS RULES AND ORDER OF BUSINESS FOR
<br />SAID CITY COUNCIL, BY PROVIDING FCm REGULAR WEEKLY MEETINGS OF THE
<br />CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DURATION OF A REVIEW PERIOD TO END SEPTEMBER 30, 1977.

<br />Mr. James moved the Resolution appointing Kay Pinkerton, Irene Holland and
<br />Ruth Thomas be adopted. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />The Mayor read a Resolution stating opposition to the provisions of Senate Bill
<br />No. 412 and House Bill 770, known as "The Ready Mixed Concrete Vehicle Weight
<br />Improvement Bill". The City Manager explained that the bill, if passed, would
<br />allow greater gross vehicular weight on city streets and would have a deleterious
<br />effect on the pavement. Mayar Craddock moved the Resolution be adopted. Mr. Hansen
<br />secanded the motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, EQUIPMENT, USE AND
<br />OCCUPANCY, AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES; BY DELETING IN
<br />THEIR ENTIRETY SECTION 4 PARAGRAPH 2 AND SECTION 4, PARAGRAPH 3 OF SAID
<br />ORDINANCE, SAID SECTION 4 PARAGRAPHS 2 AND 3 HAVING DESCRIBED A FIRE
<br />DISTRICT AND CALLED FOR A MAP DEPICTING SAID FIRE DISTRICT.
