RESOLUITON ro. .69 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A LEASE OF A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY AT SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO INTER- NATIONAL SECURITY GROUP, INC. AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, has previously approved a lease agreement between the City and International Security Group, Inc., a San Antonio corporation, on March 13, 1978 and on October 23, 1978 for lease of a portion of the San Marcos Municipal Airport for vehicle driver training involving security service techniques such as defensive and evasive driving; and, WHEREAS, said lease has now expired and the City Council, upon the recommendation of the San Marcos Airport Commission, desires to continue to lease said premises for a period of one (1) year; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Part 1. That the lease contract which is attached hereto and for all intents and purposes incorporated herein, be, and is, hereby approved. Part 2. That Mayor John A. Hansen, or his successor, be, and is, hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of San Marcos. Part 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its passage. ADOPTED this the 8 th day of October, 1979. ~~o~ ( ~ohn A.
