OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH <br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, <br />STRUCTURES. AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY <br />CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK I, BENITO CRUZ <br />LAND, LOCATED AT 305 TAMPICO STREET, FROM "D" (MULTIFAMILY) <br />TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL). <br /> <br />Councilman DeLa Rosa moved the Ordinance not be approved. Dr. <br />Tauch seconded the motion, and on roll call, the following vote <br />was recorded: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rosa, Etheredge, Flores, Tauch, Yarbrough <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an application requesting a temporary permit <br />to locate a mobile home on Farm Lot 11, Comal Street. Mr. Yarbrough <br />moved the application be approved. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion. <br />On roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rosa, Etheredge, Tauch, Yarbrough <br />NAY: Flores <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an Ordinance and read the caption as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE <br />SALE BY THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, OF PARCEL #l-lB (SEE LEGAL READING), LOCATED WITHIN <br />THE JUAN VERAMENDI, PROJECTNDP, TEX. A-6, TO RODGERS T. <br />STOREY, SOLE PROPRIETOR, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Mr. Flores moved the Ordinance be approved on an emergency. <br />Mr. Yarbrough seconded the motion. Mayor Etheredge explained that <br />the Council was generally opposed to passing emergency ordinances, <br />but that the Ordinance had been discussed at a previous workshop, <br />and that the Urban Renewal Board felt immediate action was necessary <br />for the completion of C.M.Allen Parkway. On roll call, the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Cunningham, Etheredge, Flores, Tauch, Yarbrough <br />NAY: DeLa Rosa <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an Ordinance and read the caption as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH <br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, <br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY <br />CHANGiNG'THEZONING OF THAT CERTAIN 1.77 ACRES OUT OF THE <br />J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.1, ABUTTING ON INTERSTATE <br />HIGHWAY 35 AND LYING BETWEEN SOUTH L.B.J. DRIVE AND SOUTH <br />GUADALUPE STREET, FROM "C" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C'"'2" (COMMERCIAL). <br /> <br />Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. <br />Mr. Flores seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an Ordinance and read the caption as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH <br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, <br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY <br />CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 4, 6 AND PART OF 4, BLOCK 10 <br />IN THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION, LOCATED ON THE CORNER <br />OF HUTCHISON AND MOORE STREETS, FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO <br />"C-2" (COMMERCIAL). <br /> <br />Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. <br />Mr. Yarbrough seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
