I ;?J regular meeting, may 14, 1973 page four The Mayor introduced an ordinance and read the caption as follows: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A THIRD AMENDED COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, IN CONNECTION WITH AN URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT TEX. A-6. Mr. Flores moved the Ordinance be approved on first reading. Mr. DeL a Rosa seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read a Resolution approving the exchange of land I located at Camp Gary with the United States government (see attached), and explained the exchange was necessary to develop the airport facilities at that location. Dr. Tauch moved the Resolution be approved. Mr. King seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Etheredge introduced a request for a temporary permit to locate a mobile home on Lots 3 and 4, Block 1, Belvin Addition, located at 727 Belvin Street. Mr. King moved the permit be approved. The motion was seconded by Dr. Tauch, and passed unanimously. Mr. Etheredge introduced a request for a temporary permit to locate a mobile home on Lot 22 in the Feltner Addition, 152 Sherwood Street. Mr. Dibrell moved the permit be approved. Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. In reference to Item #20 on the Agenda, James Baugh explained that quotations had been received on a police vehicle, and that the acceptable price received was for a demonstrator car, which, upon inspection, proved to be unsatisfactory because of its condition. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 1 OF THE COERS ADDITION, LOCATED AT 472 HOLLAND STREET, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL). VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.1, ABUTTING ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35 AND LYING BETWEEN SOUTH L.B.J. DRIVE AND SOUTH GUADALUPE STREET, FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL) . Mr. King moved the Ordinance be approved on third and final reading. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion.
