<br />I ;?J <br /> <br />regular meeting, may 14, 1973 <br /> <br />page four <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an ordinance and read the caption as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EXECUTE A THIRD AMENDED COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, IN CONNECTION WITH AN URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT <br />TEX. A-6. <br /> <br />Mr. Flores moved the Ordinance be approved on first reading. <br />Mr. DeL a Rosa seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read a Resolution approving the exchange of land I <br />located at Camp Gary with the United States government (see <br />attached), and explained the exchange was necessary to develop <br />the airport facilities at that location. Dr. Tauch moved the <br />Resolution be approved. Mr. King seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Etheredge introduced a request for a temporary permit to <br />locate a mobile home on Lots 3 and 4, Block 1, Belvin Addition, <br />located at 727 Belvin Street. Mr. King moved the permit be <br />approved. The motion was seconded by Dr. Tauch, and passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Etheredge introduced a request for a temporary permit to <br />locate a mobile home on Lot 22 in the Feltner Addition, 152 <br />Sherwood Street. Mr. Dibrell moved the permit be approved. <br />Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />In reference to Item #20 on the Agenda, James Baugh explained <br />that quotations had been received on a police vehicle, and <br />that the acceptable price received was for a demonstrator car, <br />which, upon inspection, proved to be unsatisfactory because of <br />its condition. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH <br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, <br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY <br />CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 1 OF THE COERS ADDITION, LOCATED <br />AT 472 HOLLAND STREET, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) <br />TO "c" (COMMERCIAL). <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an ordinance and read the caption as follows: <br /> <br />Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. <br />Mr. Flores seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an ordinance and read the caption as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH <br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, <br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY <br />CHANGING THE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN 1.77 ACRES OUT OF THE <br />J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.1, ABUTTING ON INTERSTATE <br />HIGHWAY 35 AND LYING BETWEEN SOUTH L.B.J. DRIVE AND <br />SOUTH GUADALUPE STREET, FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" <br />(COMMERCIAL) . <br /> <br />Mr. King moved the Ordinance be approved on third and final <br />reading. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion.
