Mr. Dibrel I seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF PART OF LOT 9 OF THE JOHN SCOTT ADDITION, LOCATED AT 127 SCOTT STREET, FROM "D" (MULTIFAMILY) TO "M" (MIXED). Mr. Flores moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. DeLa Rosa seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUtLDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 1 OF THE ELISEO GUERRERO SUBDIVISION, LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF ALEX STREET AND I.H. 35 SOUTH, FROM "C" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C~2" (COMMERCIAL). The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as fol iows: I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND_USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF THE WALLACE ADDITION AND PARTITION OF BENITO AND FRANCISCA CRUZ LAND (THAT LAND BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY THE COUNTY ROAD, ON THE WEST BY STAPLES ROAD [EXCEPT FOR BLOCK 1, LOTS 1 THROUGH 6 OF BLOCK 3, LOTS 1 THROUGH 8 OF BLOCK 6, LOTS 1 THROUGH 8 OF BLOCK 9, AND A 208.7 FEET SQUARE TRACT LOCATED ON THE SOUTH]AND EAST BY THE CITY LIMITS BOUNDARY LINE), FROM "M" (MIXED) AND "0" (MULTIFAMILY) TO "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL). Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. Dibrel I seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Counci Iman Dibrel I moved to authorize the purchase of office furniture for the Pol ice and Courts Building (see bid sheet attached) from KI ipples Office Equipment Company in the amount of $5,155.50, and auditorium chairs for the Pol ice and Courts Building from Indeco Sales Company for $1,393.45. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. II Mayor Etheredge nominated Harold Robbins and moved approval of his appointment to the Bicentennial Commission. Mr. Dibrel I seconded the motion~ which passed unanimously. Mr. Dibrell nominated Ted Harris and moved approval of his appointment to the Bicentennial Commission. Mr. Etheredge seconded the motion. Mr. DeLa Rosa stated that he felt the pol icy requiring names for appointment to be proposed prior to the meetings, and appointees to be present at the meeting should be followed in al I cases. On roll call, the fol lowing vote was recorded: AYE: Dibrell, Flores, Tauch NAY: Cunningham, DeLa Rosa, Etheredge Mayor Etheredge announced Mr. Harris appointment would be
