<br />Mr. Etheredge introduced an ordinance and read the caption
<br />as follows:
<br />
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, DECLARING A MORATORIUM UPON THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS
<br />OF THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
<br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND CODIFIED AS APPENDIX C OF THE
<br />CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS; DELAYING THE
<br />APPROVAL OF ALL PLATS, SUSPENDING ACTION UPON ALL PLATS AND
<br />SUBDIVISIONS, ESTABLISHING A SIX MpNTH TIME LIMITATION ON I
<br />SUCH DECLARATION, DELAY AND SUSPENSION; AND DECLARING AN
<br />EMERGENCY.
<br />
<br />Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be Passed, Approved and Adopted as
<br />an emergency. Mr. DeLa Rosa seconded the motion. On roll call,
<br />the following vote Was recorded:
<br />
<br />AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rosa, Dibrell, Etheredge, Flores,
<br />King, Tauch
<br />
<br />NAY: None
<br />
<br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted.

<br />Mr. Etheredge read the caption of an ordinance as follows:

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE III OF THE CODE OF
<br />ORD I NANCES OF SAID CITY, "F I RE PREVENT ION CODE", BY AMEND ING
<br />SECTION 13.1 TO INCLUDE A SUBSECTION C EXTENDING THE
<br />APPLICABILITY OF SAID SECTION FOR A DISTANCE OUTSIDE THE
<br />CITY LIMITS FOR A TOTAL OF FIVE THOUSAND FEET.
<br />
<br />Mr. Dibrell moved approval of the Ordinance on second reading.
<br />Mr, King seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote
<br />was recorded:

<br />The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows:

<br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO.2 TO THE
<br />URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR N.D,P. PROJECT TEX A-6, FOURTH ACTION
<br />YEAR, AND DIRECTING THAT SAID CHANGE BE FILED AS PART OF
<br />THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR SAID PROJECT.

<br />Mr. DeLa Rosa moved approval of the Ordinance on third reading,
<br />Mr. King seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was
<br />recorded:

<br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted.
<br />
<br />Mr. King moved approval of a contract with Aquarena, Inc. for
<br />lease of the Municipal Golf Course. Mr. Dibrell seconded the
<br />motion. Councilmen discussed the contract and financial report
<br />of the San Marcos Memorial Golf Association with its treasurer,
<br />Mr. Frank Taylor. On roll call, the motion to approved the
<br />contract was unanimously approved.

<br />Mr. DeLa Rosa moved approval of the appropriation of interest
<br />earned On revenue sharing investments, $15,000.00, to the line
<br />item "public safety" in the Revenue Sharing Expenditure Statement.
<br />Dr. Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
