Molina representing <br />the applicant, Ralph Gonzales, and a memorandum from the City Attorney, also <br />attached. Mr. Dibrell moved the Ordinance not be approved. Mr. Sutton <br />seconded the motion. Mr. Molina came before the Council to state that his <br />client was prepared to place a restrictive covenant running with the land <br />in perpetuity to be enforced by the a4jacent and abutting property owners <br />to be enforced by them by court injunction. Mr. Molina stressed that this <br />was a unilateral offer by Mr. Gonzales to the Council. Those coming before <br />the Council to object to the zoning change were Gordon Harmon, Superintendent <br />of Schools, George Gilbert and Carrol Burton. Mr. Hansen moved to table <br />the third reading of the Ordinance to allow the applicant time: to negotiate <br />with adjacent property owners.
