regular meeting, december 13, 1971 page t\"O The Mayor announced that the City had taken bids on installat- ion of utilities in Hughson Heights Subdivision, Addition No. One. He noted that the City had received letters of credit for the project from the financial agents reppesenting Hughson Heights, I nc. Mr. King moved that Mr. Joe McDaniel of Austin be awarded the low bid of $24,503.50. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced and read aloud an ordinance adjusting I fees for milk and meat products permits. Caption is as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BY DELETING THE PRESENT SECTION, 11-35 OF SAID CODE, AND SUBSTITUTING A NEW SECTION UNDER THE SAME NUMBER; CREATING SECTIONS 11-56, and 11-71; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY Mrs. Emery, moved approval of the ordinance on emergency basis. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion. Mr. flores questioned the per- centage of incpease on some of the fees, in particulap. retail grocery stores. Councilman Etheredge explained the difference between inspection of products and premises, which resulted in difference in fees. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: DeLa Rosa, Emery, Etheredge, King, Yarbrough, Tauch NAY: Flores The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. Mr. Etheredge moved adoption on second reading of an ordinance with the following caption: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES Of THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BYDELETI NG THE PRESENT SECTI ON 30-4 OF SAID CODE, AND SUBSTITUTING AN ENTIRELY NEW SECTION UNDER TH ESAME NUMBER; AND PROV I D1 NG AN EfFECTI VE DATE I Mrs. Emery seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mp. Flores moved adoption on final reading of an ordinance with the following caption: ANORDtINANCEAMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING ONA 9-ACRE TRACT OUT Of J.
