(See copy attached) Councilman ~arbrough moved the franchise be approved; Councilman King seconded the motion. The City Manager explained that the franchise had been forwarded to Capital Disposal representatives for their approval and that it contained the terms previously negotiated. The Mayor introduced an agreement with IBM Corporation for the order of data processing equipment to be executed by the City Manager. Mr, DeLa Rosa moved the City Manager be authorized to execute the contract. Mr. Yarbrough seconded the motion. The City Manager explained that the cost of the program would be less than budgeted for the fiscal year since the program would not be in operation for the ful I year. ,Other terms of the contract were discussed.
