<br />f... <br />\7) <br /> <br />executive session, may 27, 1971 <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />The Council reconvened in recessed session at 6:30 p.m., <br />May 27, 1971, with all members of the Council, Chief-of- <br />Police Rodney Nelson, Municipal Court Clerk Ray Baldrid@e, <br />the Acting City Manager and the City Secretary present. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced Mr. DeLaRosa, who recounted the F~r- <br />cumstances as related to-him by his wife. Chief Nelsol1 said I <br />handling of the case was a matter of human error, and he <br />deeply regretted what had happened. He said the officer on <br />duty was. new, ill the Department, and had an excellent record. <br />Mr. Baldridge explained how records were kept, and said since <br />the error had occurred, he had instituted a diffe~ent system. <br />He stated he had already apologized to Mrs. DeLaRosa for the <br />mistake, and washed to apologize to Mr. DelaRosa in the <br />presence of the Council. <br /> <br />The Mayor expressed confidence in the Police Department <br />and Chief Nelson.
