The City of San Marcos will accept all liability <br /> <br />for operation and maintenance of the Pool, and <br /> <br />carry both general and liability insurance for <br /> <br />that purpose. <br /> <br />4. The Hays County Veterans Corporation will start <br /> <br /> <br />at once to raise $125,000, beginning within thirty days <br /> <br /> <br />after signing an agreement between the City of San Marcos, <br /> <br /> <br />American Legion Post 144, and VFW Post 3413. <br /> <br />PLAN FOR FINANCING POOL <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />1. American Legion Post 144 has voted to give the <br />first $5,000 and the last $5,000 of the $125,000 to be <br />raised for the Pool. Subject to final vote of Post 144, <br />American Legion will contract with the City of San Marcos <br /> <br />I I <br /> <br />and First National Bank to guarantee the aforementioned <br /> <br /> <br />$10,000, and its availability on completion of the Pool. <br /> <br /> <br />Post 144, American Legion, will draw interest on the <br /> <br /> <br />$10,000 until the Pool is completed. <br />2. Hays County Veterans Corporation has voted to donate <br /> <br />the three lots east of American Legion Hall as a site for <br /> <br /> <br />the Swimming Pool. <br /> <br /> <br />3. American Legion Post 144 and VFW Post 3413 agree to <br /> <br /> <br />employ a swimming pool consultant within seven days after <br /> <br /> <br />an agreement has been signed with the City of San Marcos. <br />
