<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />reasonable expenses incurred by the buyer for keeping the same; <br />provided, that the property shall be redeemed from the buyer <br />within thirty (30) days after the date of the sale, excluding <br />the date of the sale, otherwise title to the personal pIOperty <br />shall become absolute in the buyer. <br />VI. <br />WHEN IMPOUNDER TO SELL IMPOUNDED PROPERTY: When any <br />personal property, other than motor vehicles, is not redeemed <br />within thirty (30) days after being impounded, and when any <br />motor vehicle is not redeemed after compliance by impounder <br />with the provisions of Section VIII. hereof, the same may be sold <br />in the manner designated by the City Manager. <br />VII. <br />NOTICE OF SALE OF IMPOUNDED PROPERTY: Before selling <br />any personal property as provided for in this ordinance, the <br />impounder shall post two (2) notices thereof, one at the Hays <br />County Court House door and one at the North Guadalupe Street <br />entrance of the City Hall, and shall cause a copy thereof to be <br />published in a newspaper regularly published in the City of <br />San Marcos once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks, the date of <br />the first publication to be at least fourteen (14) days prlor to <br />the day of the sale. The notice of sale shall describe the <br />impounded property, state that the same is unredeemed, state that <br />the same will be sold, designate the place of sale, the manner of <br />sale, and state a time and date of sale which shall nothe less <br />than fourteen (14) days from the date of the first posting of <br />such notices. <br /> <br />VIII. <br />PROCEDURE FOR DISPOSING OF IMPOUNDED MOTOR VEHICLES: <br />(A) When any motor vehicle has not been redeemed within <br />thirty (30) days from the date of its impoundment, it shall be the <br />duty of the impounder to submit to the appropriate agency of the State <br />of Texas, and the similar agency of the proper state when the <br />vehicle is from another state, all information in his possession <br />concerning such vehicle and to request that such department <br />-3- <br />
