32 regular meeting, august 26, 1974, page three AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY ENTITLED "PARKS AND RECREATION," BY ENACTING A NEW SECTION NUMBERED 18-6 ENTITLED "ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN PUBLIC PARKS." I Mr. Hansen moved the ordinance be amended by deleting the word "family" from Part 6. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Dibrell, Craddock, Hansen, Sutton NAY: Breihan, Flores The Mayor declared the motion passed to amend the ordinance. Mr. Sutton moved the ordinance be approved as amended. Ur. Craddock seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Dibrell, Craddock, Hansen, Sutton NAY: Breihan, Flores The Mayor declared the motion passed and the ordinance approved as amended on first reading. Mayor Craddock read the caption of the following ordinance on first reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE CREATING THE BELVIN STREET HIS- TORICAL DISTRICT BY ADDING TO AND INCLUDING IN SAID HIS- TORICAL DISTRICT THAT PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE MASONIC TEMPLE, AND DELETING FROM SAID DISTRICT THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY NELL MONTGOMERY. 'I Mr. Hansen moved the ordinance be approved on first reading. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion which passed unanimously, Mayor Craddock read the caption of the following emergency ordinance: AN ORDINANCE # OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. Mr. Sutton moved the ordinance be adopted on an emergency basis. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock read the caption of the following emergency ordinance: AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESCRIBING THE FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND POWERS OF SHELTER MANAGERS DURING NATIONAL EMERGENCIES; PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mr. Sutton moved the ordinance be adopted on an emergency basis. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion which passed unanimously. I Mayor Craddock read the caption of the following ordinance on second reading: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING CODE TO GOVERN SPECIFICATIONS, MATERIALS, METHODS, MAIN- TENANCE, ETC; PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND ESTABLISHING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS. Mr. Hansen moved the ordinance be approved on second reading, Mr, Flores seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
